That ground flaxseed is more beneficial to your health than whole flaxseed. Whole flaxseed may pass through your body without digesting. This doesn't allow it to distribute all the benefits it carries. It's an easy way to get important nutrients like fiber, protein, iron, and Omega 3's. I enjoy adding a couple tablespoons of ground flaxseed to my fruit smoothie in the morning!
